What are the rules regarding short-stay rentals?
Temporary rental has been possible since 2016 with more flexible rules. Since early 2018 it is not possible in Rotterdam to rent your home through Airbnb or similar websites for more than 60 nights. On the other hand, it is possible to draw up unlimited contracts (at least a month) with tenants as long as the stay has a residential character. Renting out for a few nights via Airbnb is only possible 60 nights a year. In this situation you keep the possibility to use the apartment again or to rent it out again in the near future.
